Alabama Youth Advocacy Day

On Thursday March 9th the Alabama Alliance for Healthy Youth partnered with the Alabama Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and URGE: Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity for our 5th Annual Youth Advocacy Day.  Young people ages 15 to 26 were invited to come, participate in training on advocacy and lobbying, then attend meetings and have lunch with their legislators, closing the day with a rally on the steps.  The day was a huge success, with more than 60 young people in attendance.
